ERODED SUN

ERODED SUN – available now via @brlsq – Burlesque of North America.Eroded Sun is based on a painting (approximately the same size as the reproduction) That I created for Neurosis’ Summer 2016 European tour, designed to be a complement to the artwork I created earlier in 2016 for Neurosis’ “Fire Within Fires” album.
Neurosis holds a special place in my heart and that pressure helped me create something for the band that I feel helped push my art further than before. The multiple layers and textures where all hand-drawn, painted and sanded in the original artwork. No computers were used to enhance the original at all.
The extremely talented @brlsq crew broke down these heavy textures into 14 layers, all expertly commited to paper by THE man Ben LaFond, making this one of my favorite prints I’ve ever released.

Continuing Old Themes

I've been in San Fransisco on vacation for a little over a week, seeing museums and visiting the natural wonder of the Redwoods and the surrounding pacific coastal landscape. I found myself tattooing some of my old clients at one of my favorite tattoo shops in the world, Temple Tattoo in Oakland.
Damon came in and we continued working on his arm outlining it into a full sleeve, more on this one to come in the future, but for now our progress……

Thank you Damon for your trust and time.
Below are a few images from my trip to the coast, Point Reyes Lighthouse. I shoot a lot of landscapes and textural images with my Fuji Xt1, they provide me inspiration for paintings and illustration.

Repeat then Repeat

As my trip to the U.K. Comes to an end I’m looking back at my photographs, mostly of visits to museums and old castles and family fun. But a certain group of images stick out, whilst here a very dedicated and patient client came three times to get work from me, it’s always a pleasure to tattoo Karen.

Below is the document of the dedication she has, we finished her right sleeve, started and finished her left armpit and started her back with a giant chrysanthemum. Thank you!
