ERODED SUN – available now via @brlsq – Burlesque of North America.Eroded Sun is based on a painting (approximately the same size as the reproduction) That I created for Neurosis’ Summer 2016 European tour, designed to be a complement to the artwork I created earlier in 2016 for Neurosis’ “Fire Within Fires” album.
Neurosis holds a special place in my heart and that pressure helped me create something for the band that I feel helped push my art further than before. The multiple layers and textures where all hand-drawn, painted and sanded in the original artwork. No computers were used to enhance the original at all.
The extremely talented @brlsq crew broke down these heavy textures into 14 layers, all expertly commited to paper by THE man Ben LaFond, making this one of my favorite prints I’ve ever released.
