For many years Jason Saga has been and will continue to be one of my favourite tattooers, his gentle spirit and cheeky demeanor always made getting tattooed and working with him a great pleasure.
I have over 40 hours of work from Jason on my back, it is and always will be my favourite tattoo. And I am proud to be among the other thousands of people who also carry Jason’s art on their skin.
My experiences with Jason have taught me to have a strength, patience and courage within life and tattooing, he was always someone I considered a peer and who’s advice I took with the upmost sincerity. Yet as serious as he could be about tattooing, he would always have a smile on his face, he would always be able to make you laugh and he was always the source of light where ever he was.
I hope that he finds peace and that the love everyone has for him the world over gives him strength, like he gave so many of us in our lives with him.
My heart goes out to his family and his wife, he was a true friend and great man, I am proud to have known him and considered him a friend.

i only just found out 3 years late. i met him when he was starting out and i was not in a great place . he was a person i admired and respected , when i was losing self respect and spiralling down a daunting dark hole. he made time and included me and effortlessly so , he and some of his japanese friends kick started an upward recovery. thanks jason, i came looking for ya , when i got my shit together , to say cheers. talented, genuine,outrageous , loyal. rip butty bach . from archie
